Recognizing the Oakland County Emergency Declaration and actions taken by Governor Whitmer and President Trump in response to the Coronavirus Pandemic, the Township Board has CLOSED all offices and the Building Department. This action was taken to protect Township staff, the public and help contain the spread of COVID-19.  The closing will be effective Monday, March 16 through Sunday, April 5. Prior to April 5, the situation will be reassessed to determine when Civic Center offices can reopen.

The Fire Department's Administrative Office is also closed, but Fire Department services are fully operational and available to assist the public.

Please contact the department you need by phone or e-mail. We will continue to assist you.  We will respond to phone calls, emails and letters (a departmental contact list can be found here).

Township staff may be available in person by appointment if no other options are available for the provision of an essential service. Springfield Township officials, staff, and emergency personnel are working diligently to maintain essential services and provide up to date information to keep residents safe and informed. Please check back for updates.
